bio
I was born in Cyprus. I have studied Ba (Hons) Drama, Acting, and Performance at the University of Huddersfield (UK) and completed my postgraduate MA in Theatre Studies and International Dramaturgy at the University of Amsterdam (NL). I have participated in international seminars such as the Epidaurus Lyceum (GR) 2019, the DUENDE Ensemble Physical Theatre by John Britton (UK) 2019, Amy Whitehead's seminar based on Meyerhold's Biomechanics technique (UK) 2017, and I have completed the seminar on Theodoros Terzopoulos's technique in 2023. I am active in the field of Theater and Performance as well as in the creation of short film productions.
As an artist, I have a vision to 'combine' the arts I practice and create a result that concerns everyone. Professionally, my experiences combine my participation as a Director and/or actor in theatrical performances, performances, storytelling events, and film projects in Greece, Cyprus, England, and the Netherlands. Among other things, in 2023, I presented and directed the performative installation 'From Memory Held; a Scream' at the University Theater of Amsterdam (NL), participated in the production of the Dutch National Opera & Ballet (NL) action 'Opera forward festival,' and directed 'Andromache' at the Epikolono Theater (GR). For my dissertation on Ancient Greek Theater in contemporary scenes, I worked and researched in the production of the National Theater's 'Hippolytus,' directed by Katerina Evaggelatos
